It Felt so Good

Cake Ball Party
The girls and I had so much fun on our almost week long visit to Gigi's house. We spent time with family and friends. I was really missing them and it felt so good to be with them again. I was able to spend an afternoon leisurely lunch with a wonderful friend while Gigi watched the girls for me. It was a sweet time of catching up and just laughing. It felt so good.

We spent time with a group of girlfriends and all of our kids making cake balls which were created by Bakerella. They were scrumptious but the fellowship was even better. It did my heart and soul so much good to be with these women. It felt so good.

There was also time visiting aunts, Gigi's coffee buddies (so he could show off his girls), and lots of great times with Special Friend. We went out to eat with her a few times and after Daddy arrived we all played Dominoes together. (If you see Daddy soon, be sure to ask him how he scored at Dominoes. He will "proudly" tell you, I am sure. Heehee!) All of this felt so good.

We visited our old church and saw sweet, friendly faces who were thrilled to see our little family. It felt so good.

It was a great trip and it went so quick. Thanks to all you special people who made us feel so loved up north. We love you all so much!

And two little pictures of Pumpkin who took a nap with wet hair and woke up looking like Elvis.

Now we are home again and living it up in our little southern community.
