A Familiar Face

The girls and I got to spend the morning with a friend from church back home. She came down to spend some time with her daughter who also lives down here and attends school. This dear friend picked the girls and I up this morning and took us shopping. She said she had been wanting to get some things for Pumpkin so she took this time to do just that. Boy did she spoil the girls! :) She got some beautiful things for Pumpkin for the winter and there may have been some fun things slipped into the cart for Peanut!

After our shopping excursion we met up with her daughter to eat lunch. They chose an Indian restaurant to eat at downtown. I had never had Indian cuisine before and wasn't sure what to expect. It was so good. Oh my goodness. I will definitely be taking Daddy there soon for lunch. Even Peanut enjoyed her yummy lunch.

The best part about the day was being with friends, with familiar faces. This is a friend that I didn't get to spend alot of time with back home but when I did spend time with her, I knew I was in the company of someone very special who loves us very much. She is just one of those caring souls who beams the love of the Lord to those around her.
