I normally don't post on Saturdays but I wanted to give a shout out to a great new local charity. Two very giving and tenacious "chicks' have recently started "Charity Chicks" where they strive to make a difference in our community, and have a great time while doing it.
If you are in the Winston Salem area and are looking for a way to get involved, check out their website. They choose one local charity a year, dedicate all their efforts towards fundraising, volunteering and raising awareness. They are in full swing and are supporting a local Community Care Center that provides medical and dental services to those in need in Winston and surrounding counties. If you are not in the Winston Salem area, I encourage you to find something similar closer to home. You will be so glad that you did!
What I like about Charity Chicks?
1. It is a group of women getting together to do something good.
2. It is a group of women getting together to have fun.
Congrats to both Jamie and Casey for embarking on such an inspiring new journey and for giving local women the chance to build new friendships and make a difference. I would say Charity Chicks is a win win for all!
