Amazing Love

We are doing well. Daddy and I are still healing. I can already tell a small difference today in my pain. It hurts to bend and lift. I still can't lift Pumpkin, but was able to kind of pull/slide her onto my lap while I was sitting down this morning. That's an improvement!

The girls still only have the car seat strap burns on their necks. Pumpkin had a small bump on her cheek and a bite mark on her tongue, but other than these marks on their precious bodies, there is no further evidence of what they went through. Praise the Lord!

Daddy and I will heal. His bone will fuse back together. My abstract art work all over my body will fade away. Our muscles will loosen up.

We are so blown away! It is so hard to fathom what could have happened, so we just don't go there. We know what did happen and we are bursting with thankfulness. I keep going back to the blog and reading the post about the accident because it just doesn't seem real. How could that have really happened and yet here we all are? The girls are running around without a care in the world and we are by their sides loving them even more today. There are winces of pain when we stand or move the wrong way, but that is all. It is His Amazing Love that brought us through!

I'm alive and well
Your spirit is within me
Because You died and rose again.
Amazing love, how can it be
That you, my king died for me.
Your spirit is within me
Because You died and rose again.
Amazing love, how can it be
That you, my king would die for me?
Amazing love, I KNOW it's true;
It's my joy to honor You
In all I do I honor You!
You are my King.
