Going Back a Bit

What a week this has been. I have been sewing like a mad woman who waited until the last minute to make her daughter's Halloween costume. Wait! That mad woman was me. The laundry is in two piles in the laundry room, clean and not clean. The dishes are stacked in the sink in two piles, clean and not clean. Our kitchen table is covered with sewing machine, pattern pieces, fabric and sewing notions galore. Tomorrow...it will all still be there tomorrow for me to clean and put away.

I promise to have pics up soon of Peanut's Halloween costume. I had to have it done for tonight to take her to a Trick or Treat trail at a local park for which I paid $4.00 for my daughter to receive like 8 pieces of candy! It was cute though and she had a ball, so it was worth it. I'm going to keep you in suspense about what her costume is though. But wait..most of you follow me of facebook so you already know. Oh well! Maybe some of you will be in suspense.

I have had these pictures to share for a few weeks now but I just haven't had time to blog. I actually have lots of things to share with you all so hopefully over the next few days, I can blog here and there.

Dobbie and Papa swung through our neighborhood for a quick overnight visit a few weeks ago. We told Peanut that she was going to have a very special surprise. She was so excited and had a hard time waiting for her surprise to happen.


Then finally our doorbell rang and she was greeted by some extra special guests!

We were all so thrilled to see each other. It felt so strange to not have seen Dobbie and Papa in over a month. We were so used to seeing them many times each week. It was a great catch up with them. We can't wait to see them again!
